One day, I met a girl. I liked her very much. Our relationship became very close. It developed quite rapidly.
Anya lived with her mother and stepfather. As quickly as possible she wanted to leave home and start an independent life. But it never worked out for her.
She was studying at university, and so she was dependent on her mother and stepfather to pay her tuition. One day Anya invited me to her friend Inna’s dacha to spend the weekend with some mutual friends.
I agreed and we went. There, for the first time, I saw Inna, Inna’s friend. Just looking at her, I realized I was lost. I had fallen in love, head over heels, and without a twist.
She struck me, with her correct features, her way of speaking. I couldn’t get enough of her, and I couldn’t get enough of her voice. Anya, became simply uninteresting to me.
I was very uncomfortable in front of her. I tried not to show my interest in her friend at first. The weekend passed painfully for me. After that weekend, I began to look for meetings with Inna.
I decided that I wanted to be only with her. But Anya, as if by chance, would not leave me alone, she just did not give me a pass, thereby pushing me away more.
One day I could not stand it, I said to her:
“Anya, please don’t follow me. I do not love you, I have feelings for another girl. If you can, forgive me, but you can’t do what your heart desires.”
I could not do otherwise, Inna reciprocated. Our romance reached the point where we applied to the registry office.
I loved Inna so much that it didn’t scare me that she could never have children. And right after the wedding, Anya came to us and told us the news that she was expecting a baby with me.
I was shocked by this news. Inna, too, was surprised as much as I was. And Anna liked our condition very much. And then, she suggested to us that when the baby is born, she can give it to us for adoption. Because this baby was not in her plans for life.
She left, giving us time to think. The whole situation seemed just monstrous to me, but I suddenly thought that I really wanted this child, because when I married Inna, I immediately cut off the idea of becoming a father someday.
Inna, too, was in deep thought. After discussing everything we decided to go on Anya’s terms. We prepared all the documents and completed the paperwork properly.
And now we have a daughter Mashenka. Right after the birth we took her to our place. Everybody was happy. Inna and I had a daughter, and Anya got the desired freedom.
She couldn’t wait to show off her cool car that I bought her in gratitude for giving us the opportunity to be parents.
But a month later, Anya suddenly decided to change everything.
And then, she started pestering us with her calls and threatening to take her daughter back if we didn’t help her financially. Anya had forgotten that she had signed all the documents, but we had to remind her of that in court.
She was left with nothing but her car. And we, decided that for our peace of mind, and our daughter’s peace of mind, to go far away, to a place where she can’t reveal the secret.
