I want to share some sad observations and thoughts on a romantic topic. Maybe this confession will help the reader not to step on the same rake that I have walked on more than once.
I think, I am even firmly convinced that in the 21st century you can and should get acquainted with the opposite sex in the Internet – on specialized dating sites, in social networks or on topical forums of interest. Theoretically it is all true, but in practice it has never worked out for me.
I started dating on my own initiative, communicated at a distance with five different girls at different times in my life. And it was not positive: we never met any of them face to face. There was some mutual interest and even some affection (if you can call it that). But beyond correspondence in social networks it did not go further, and as a result in a couple of weeks all communication came to naught – it was not interesting to talk and about nothing.
The reason, in my opinion, is simple: although dating and begins as ispovedi.com remote, but it is critical to choose a couple from your city. The great distance between people and the inability to talk face to face leads to misunderstanding and a gradual loss of interest in each other. It is impossible to build a relationship without personal contact soon. No more than a week should pass from the first virtual meeting, otherwise the relationship “won’t take off”.
The Internet – an excellent, even the best, opportunity for romantic dating, but you need to “have your head on your shoulders” and think through all the risks beforehand. Are you really ready to continue a virtual relationship and do not torment the head for the sake of self-affirmation, or to satisfy any of their complexes. After all, there – a living person and not nice to turn it into a toy. Ask yourself if your potential partner will want to leave everything (job, apartment, life, friends) and go to you, start everything from scratch? And are you ready to accept a stranger in your apartment? Or on the contrary, to go to the unknown?
You should also remember that each of us creates his “virtual image” in social networks, which often does not correspond to our real self. When you get acquainted in real life, you meet each other, live through different life situations together and get to know the character of your potential chosen one. But when dating on the Internet you do not know who really answers you “on the other side of the screen”, how his “virtual image” corresponds to the real one.
I am firmly convinced: after 2-3 sessions of correspondence online dating must be necessarily translated into real life, and if it is impossible because of the distance – it is better not to start, so as not to give hope neither to yourself nor to your potential soulmate.
There, I said it, it got a little easier. I’m going to try to find that one, which is designed for me by fate. The main thing in this case is not to lose hope…
